Thrips Predator

Amblyseius cucumeris is a small predator which feeds on a wide range of small arthropod prey.  It is used primarily for the control of thrips but can also be used for control of Tarsonemid mites on a number of crops and can reduce Rust Mite populations.  It will also prey on spider mites but does not offer significant control.  Due to its small size, it feeds only on the smallest trhips larva and cannot attack large larva or adults.
